FEIF Youth Cup 2010 in Beautiful Danish Scenery Icelandic horses, teamwork and cross-cultural friendships will be in focus when Denmark is hosting the International Youth Cup this summer.
Fantastic Nature One of the most beautiful spots in Denmark will be the setting for the FEIF Youth Cup on 9-18th of July 2010. The location is an organic agricultural college called Kalø Økologiske Landbrugsskole, which is surrounded by Danish nature at its best: sandy beaches, green forests and hilly terrain just around the corner. The facilities include newly established stables with direct access to a riding hall, a round pen, a pace track and an oval track. For horse lovers, this place leaves nothing left to ask for.
International Friendships FEIF Youth Cup is arranged every second year and lasts for a week. It is an event that creates friendships across borders when the youngsters are joined by their passion for the Icelandic horse. The participants aged 14 to 17 can bring their own horse or they can rent one on location. During the week, the participants will be coached by experienced instructors, they will participate in various activities and go on excursions. Finally, the cup is closed with a competition day in international youth classes. The focus will be on all-round skills, working in groups, sportsmanship and horsemanship.
Perfect Location for Vacation and Adventures Even though parents are only allowed at the camp on the competition day, the FEIF Youth Cup 2010 is a great opportunity to take a family trip to Denmark. The college is situated on the peninsula of Djursland, which in the summertime is a mekka for those who enjoy active tourism. The area attracts people from all over Europe and the coastline is filled with summer houses and other types of accommodation. Furthermore, Djursland has all kinds attractions including a unique National park, numerous wildlife parks, charming towns, a great amusement park and one of the world’s best golf courses. All attractions are less than half an hour away from the Youth Cup.
